This page is maintained by the TaskVelo team to explain, in plain language, what information TaskVelo handles when you use the app and how we look after it.

Information we collect

When you create an account, we store the email address you sign up with (or the details returned by Google when you choose Google sign-in) and a workspace profile you fill out during onboarding — your name, business name, and preferred currency.

While using TaskVelo, you create the clients, projects, tasks, time entries, and invoices that make up your workspace. That content is yours; we store it so you can come back to it on any device.

How we use it

We use your information to operate the product — authenticate you, render your workspace, generate invoices, and (when you ask) draft AI invoice summaries or client emails. We do not sell your data and we do not use the content of your workspace to train third-party AI models.

Where it lives

Your data is stored in our managed backend with per-account isolation enforced at the database layer. Connections are encrypted in transit using TLS.

AI features

Optional AI features (invoice summary, client email draft) send the minimum necessary context — invoice line items, totals, dates, and the client name — to the AI provider that powers them. Generated drafts are returned to you to review before they leave the app.

Your choices

You can edit your profile, export your data, or delete your account at any time from the Settings page. Deleting your account removes your workspace data.
